ABILENE PASSES SMOKING ORDINANCE

The City Comission passed a smoking ordinance on June 25, 2005. It makes all offices, restaurants, and bars with more than 45% food sales smoke free. If you witness a violation of this ordinance, you can contact the city managers office at 263-2550 or citymgr@abilenecityhall.com.

 

Take Action
If you live in Abilene OR know someone who lives in Abilene  who is in favor of additional smoke free protections for all indoor public places and workplaces, please have them write or call the City Commission as soon as possible. If you send an e-mail ask the recipient to forward the email to their contacts in Abilene. Abilene residents, please make your feelings known.
