Latest News:

Clay County residents presented a petition in support of a statewide smoking bill to the Clay County Commissioners in May. The petition was initiated by the American Cancer Society, which is advocating for a statewide smoking bill. The Commissioners indicated they personally did not support smoking restrictions. State Representative Vern Swanson (R- Clay Center) recommended that supporters talk to the Clay County Commission about a special election on the issue.
