GARDEN CITY GOES SMOKE FREE
The City Comission passed a smoke free ordinance on August 8, 2006. It became effective in January 2007 and made all offices, restaurants, and bars within the city smoke free. If you witness a violation of this ordinance you can call the Garden City Police Department at (620) 276-1350 or jhawkins@garden-city.org
Take Action
If you live in Garden City or know someone who lives in Garden City please have them write or call the City Council to thank and congratulate them on passing a smoke free ordinance that protects all workers.
