LAWRENCE GOES SMOKE FREE
The City Commission passed a smoke free ordinance on May 4, 2004. It became effective July 1, 2004 and made all offices, restaurants and bars in the city smoke free. If you witness a violation of this ordinance you can call 785-832-7509.
Take Action
If you live in Lawrence or know someone who lives in Lawrence please have them write or call the City Commission to thank and congratulate them on passing a smoke free ordinance that protects all workers.
