MAIZE GOES SMOKE FREE

The City Council passed a smoke free ordinance on July 22, 2008. It became effective July 24, 2008, and made most offices, restaurants, and bars in the city smoke free. However, employers may allow smoking in areas not open to the public, such as private offices.
