The Haysville City Counil discussed a smoke free ordinance on November 10th, 2008.  It was discussed again at the December 8th meeting, specifically in reference to ordinances in Derby and Wichita.  The council is asking Haysville citizens to read through both the comprehensive Derby ordinance and the less restrictive Wichita ordinance and contact the city council with opinions.  Both ordinances have been posted on the city webpage and can be view online at www.haysville-ks.com/

 

Take Action
If you live in Haysville OR know someone who lives in Haysville who is in favor of a smoke free ordinance, please have them write or call the Council as soon as possible. If you send an e-mail ask the recipient to forward the email to their contacts in Haysville. Haysville residents, please make your feelings known.
