OLATHE GOES SMOKE FREE

The City Council passed a smoke free ordinance in 2006. The ordinance provides protections from second hand smoke in public places and workplaces. It does exempt Class B private clubs. Some Olathe bars did apply to the state to become a private club in order to thawrt the local ordinance.
