OTTAWA PASSES SMOKING ORDINANCE 

The City Council unanimously passed a smoke free ordinance on December 5, 2007. It became effective June 1, 2008 and made offices and restaurants in the city smoke free.

 

Take Action
If you live in Ottawa OR know someone who lives in Ottawa who is in favor of a comprehensive smoke free ordinance, please have them write or call the City Commission as soon as possible. If you send an e-mail ask the recipient to forward the email to their contacts in Ottawa. Ottawa residents, please make your feelings known.
